Frisco Oceanfront RV Resort

Frisco Oceanfront RV Resort is a new oceanfront RV park at the southern end of Hatteras Island, opened by the same operator as Avon Pier + RV Resort. It is the largest RV property on the island by published site count, with 184 RV sites and four cabins, and it is taking reservations for July 2026 and beyond.

What the official site publishes

  • 184 RV sites and 4 two-bedroom cabins.
  • Sites 1-30 are oceanfront; sites 31-60 are the standard interior category.
  • All RV sites have water and sewer hookups and 20, 30 and 50 amp electric service, with back-in access and Wi-Fi.
  • Published site pad size of 50 feet by 30 feet, described as big rig friendly and slide-out friendly.
  • Swimming pool, community and ADA accessible bath house, laundry machines, 24/7 ice machine, dog friendly park, trash service and gravel roads.
  • Open March 1 to December 15, with daily, weekly, monthly and annual stays.
  • Maximum six guests per site, one vehicle included, additional guests 3 dollars per person per night for ages 13 and up.
  • Tents are not permitted on RV sites, including for extra visitors.
  • No cable TV.

Rates

The resort publishes its own rate ranges: oceanfront RV sites 90 to 100 dollars a night, non-oceanfront RV sites 75 to 85 dollars a night and cabins 160 dollars a night, with holiday stays 10 dollars more per night and a three night holiday minimum. Monthly stays are advertised at 20 per cent off. Rates are described as subject to seasonal change.

Pets

Pets are allowed at RV sites and at most cabins, with a per pet per night fee, a maximum of four pets and one designated pet free cabin. All pets must be added to the reservation. That is a restrictions-apply policy.

Not the same as Frisco Woods

Frisco Oceanfront RV Resort is a separate business from Frisco Woods Campground, which sits on the sound side of the island. The two are often confused because of the shared village name.
