* North Beach Campground: This campground does not publish nightly rates or a pet policy online. Call the campground to confirm both before booking. Rodanthe Watersports and Campground: Rig limits are set per site and are short: sites 4 and 5 take drivable RVs only up to 25 feet with no towable trailers, sites 6 and 8 take all types up to 23 feet or 25 feet if drivable, and sites 10 and 12 take all types up to 25 feet. No sewer hookups at sites. One vehicle per site. Season runs mid-March through the end of November. St. Clair Landing Family Campground: The website advertises full hookups, but the campground booking system shows sewer on only 7 of the 20 RV sites; the other 13 RV sites are water and electric only. Book the full hookup category if you need sewer at the site. Maximum rig length 35 feet, one vehicle per site, open April 1 to November 30. Avon Pier + RV Resort: Rig length limits are set per site category, not per campground: up to 55 feet on sites 1-7, 24, 25 and 26; up to 44 feet on sites 8, 10-14, 16, 18, 20 and 23; under 29 feet on the van sites 9, 15, 17, 21 and 22. No laundry, no general store and no cable TV on site. Frisco Oceanfront RV Resort: Open March 1 to December 15. Tents are not permitted on RV sites. The resort is new and is taking bookings from July 2026 onward, so confirm that the section you are booking is open on your dates. Hatteras Sands Campground: The official site says many sites include water, sewer and electric rather than all sites, so hookups are recorded as mixed. No nightly RV rate is published; call or use the online booking system for a quote.
